Good Time Fool vs. Don’t Be Fooled

He was born on April 1.

Nine years ago, when I first learned of LeeRoy’s registered name, Good Time Fool, my first thought was, “I am a Good Time Fool Too!”

Then I discovered more about this magnificent horse. He was trained in dressage and reining. However, after he demonstrated his dislike of a “fun show” by rearing up and bucking, I realized we had more in common – we are both uncomfortable being the center of attention. We feel at ease in small groups, love living in the country, and going on camping adventures with trail riding.

Is it important to you to have a connection with your mortgage professional who shares the same standards and outlook on life?

What Have You Heard or Experienced?

Have you personally experienced bad customer service?

  1. They don’t return my phone calls, texts, emails

  3. This is taking forever
  4. They keep asking for the same document several times

Who would you rather work with?

Someone who:

  1. Ignores you
  2. Is irritated when they talk to you
  3. Expects you to know everything about home buying

or Someone who:

  1. Gives you step by step instructions, checklists, and plans
  2. Is timely in finishing paperwork
  3. Is organized
  4. Listens
  5. Knowledgeable
  6. Is enjoyable to talk to

Yes – it is possible to have a good time with minimal stress during the mortgage process.
